Meet the Founder​

Alex is an experienced litigator dedicated to helping employees who have been treated unlawfully. Before founding Rissmiller PLLC, he represented corporate employers, as well as employees, in all manner of employment disputes in federal and state court including wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, unpaid wages, and breach of contract. He has also conducted arbitrations through the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority and American Arbitration Association, among other forums. Alex brings his inside knowledge of employer tactics to bear for his clients. He tailors an individualized strategy for each case in order to best serve his client’s goals, whether that be an early resolution or taking a case to trial.

Alex graduated from New York University School of Law, where he served on The Journal of Law & Liberty, and the University of Pittsburgh, magna cum laude. He is a member of the New York City Bar Association and the National Employment Lawyers Association. Since 2022, he has been named as a Super Lawyers Rising Star for employment litigation, which is limited to 2.5% of lawyers in NY.
