With over a decade of dedicated experience in employment law, Evelyn has a deep understanding of the challenges employees face. Before joining Rissmiller PLLC, she spent years at an employment law firm as an intake specialist and paralegal.

Evelyn’s commitment to helping others has been a guiding thread throughout her career. She previously worked at a disability law firm, where she helped manage over 2,000 Social Security Disability claims for individuals navigating difficult circumstances. Her worldview was further broadened by living and working in France, studying at the Sorbonne and serving at the U.S. Embassy, experiences that honed her ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Evelyn graduated summa cum laude from SUNY Albany, was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, and received the university’s Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence. She also earned two certifications from the National Association of Legal Assistants, providing an understanding of the litigation process and enabling her to conduct a more insightful, strategic intake from the very beginning.
