Jazly Liriano

Jazly is a dedicated advocate for individuals facing employment discrimination and retaliation across New York. A champion for marginalized communities, Jazly has been recognized with the Legal Aid Society’s Pro Bono Publico Award for outstanding pro bono service.

Jazly’s commitment to innovative advocacy extends to her work with the Tony Award-winning Broadway Advocacy Coalition, an organization that uses artistry and storytelling to achieve criminal justice and educational reform. Her dedication to public service was recognized at Harvard with both the Pforzheimer and Houston Awards for Public Service.

Before joining Rissmiller PLLC, Jazly was a litigation associate at a civil rights litigation boutique, where she gained significant experience in all stages of complex litigation. She also worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Jesse M. Furman in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.

Jazly received her J.D. from Columbia Law School, where she was recognized for academic excellence as a James Kent Scholar and a Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, and served as a Staff Editor on the Columbia Law Review. She received her A.B., cum laude, from Harvard College. Jazly is a native Spanish speaker and has advanced proficiency in Portuguese, allowing her to serve a broad range of communities in New York.
